Many times, users are confused about the term “email client” or “mail client”. An Email Client is simply an interface to access and manage your email. Below is a list of some of the most popular email clients that our customers use.

WEBMAIL

Can be used from most devices with a web browser and an Internet connection. Just open your web browser and go to https://webmail.n2net.net/.

MICROSOFT WINDOWS

Microsoft Outlook

• Part of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Not part of Windows but may be pre-installed on a new computer.
• Outlook 2007 or newer is recommended.

Mozilla Thunderbird

• Free mail client from the makers of the Firefox web browser.
• Can be downloaded from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/.

Mail

• Free mail app included with Windows 8.

Windows Mail

• Free mail client included with Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Outlook Express

• Popular mail client that was included with Windows 98 through Windows XP.
• No longer recommend or supported.

APPLE OS X Apple Mail

• Free mail client included with OS X.

Mozilla Thunderbird

• Free mail client from the makers of the Firefox web browser.
• Can be downloaded from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/.

• Part of the Microsoft Office for Mac suite beginning with the 2011 version.

• Part of the Microsoft Office for Mac suite 2001 through 2008.
• Not recommended or supported.
